A 1940’s apartment got a makeover with vintage finds. This large living room featured a corner fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows. A mixture of flea market and sale purchases meant an inviting and pretty space could be created within the budget. We painted the fireplace and surrounding wall in Farrow and Ball’s Pavilion Gray to add definition to that area. Gold Chinese garden stools, a chinoiserie ottoman, mid-century American chair and Lane side table, combined with neutral upholstery kept the look fresh, modern, quirky and inviting.
